I am a qualified integrative therapist/counsellor based in Wickwar, South Gloucestershire (GL12). I am a National Counselling Society Accredited Member (MNCS).

I work in a person centred way and like to offer a safe space to my clients for them to explore anything they wish to in a non-judgmental, caring and relaxed environment. I believe that by talking your concerns through and seeing them from different angles you will discover ways of managing them more resourcefully or resolving them.

I have a Foundation Degree in Counselling from the University of Plymouth

EXPERIENCE

I work as a therapist in the Priory Hospital Bristol, alongside running my private practice and offer counselling to students at a higher education institute. I have extensive experience of working with clients who have suffered trauma while working in an agency that offers specialist support to survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence. I have also volunteered as a bereavement counsellor in a local hospice in Bristol.

I provide confidential one to one support for a wide range of issues such as Anxiety and Depression, Panic attacks,  Post - Traumatic Stress, Bereavement / Loss, Cultural issues, Generally unhappy with life,  Self-esteem and Spirituality.  I offer trauma focussed therapy to clients who have suffered trauma and abuse and help them to understand and deal with their emotional and psychological issues, addiction and substance misuse, and self-harm.

Prior to retraining as a therapist, I worked in the Public Sector for over 15 years, gaining a wide range of experience, which I can draw on, to help my clients.
